Do you possess the dedication required to be part of a gifted community? If the answer is yes, then come along to our band practice. Whether you're young or old, male or female, SDPBHD has something to offer you! Our senior members will help you learn either the bagpipes or the drums. You will learn a number of excellent skills, such as discipline, rhythm and of course, the ability to read music. Why not encourage your friends, family or childen to come along and learn with you? After all, there is no better gift than the gift of music.

Your first four weeks of practice are absolutely free - so there's no reason to stop you from coming along and finding out for yourself if you want to learn this exciting new instrument. Normal practice fee is £1 per week, which helps toward the cost of hiring the hall, band uniform and equipment.

Scunthorpe and District Pipe Band and Highland Dancers is a not-for-profit organization endulging in the art of traditional Scottish music. This website is dedicated to bringing you the latest information about the band, pictures, videos, and means of contacting the band.

Band practice takes place on Monday nights at the Polish Club in Scunthorpe
[click for directions] between 6:30-9:00pm.
